If it's not one thing it's another.

Got a call last night about 9pm, found out my Dad was getting worked on by American's E.R.T.(Emergency Resonse Team) and that he was on his way to the hospital. Called my step-mom and she called up there and found out his blood sugar was way low, and that they were allready taking him to the hospital. So, even though she told me to just stay at home I decided to go up there. Got all of the whopping 1/4 mile to QuickTrip and alas I had a flat driverside tire. Nice huh? Got back in the garage and told Lauren to call someone with a car as we only have just the one to save on money. She called her mom cause her dad was asleep due to working this morning at 4:30am. Her mom came over intending on changing the tire, (bless her) however I allready knew/was working on changing the tire. Turns out there was a peice of steel or nail or something in the tire. Took it to Hibdon this morning and got it fixed. It is just amazing how things can snowball in just a few seconds/minutes. This kind of thing usually happens to/around the house i.e. the fence is shot almost all of the way around. A couple of years ago it was the air conditioner, but it always seems as if things happen all at ounce.

Whataya gonna do?!?

Neighbors they can be great or not so great. We used to have great next door neighbors then they moved to Florida, and now we have to call the Police on their dog/s that get left out in the cold and bark all night long due also to being inside dogs... duh, get a clue.
Across the street we had a Hispanic couple that were great also til' one day thry put their house up for sale. Next day or so our mail box was knocked over all but the main post and also bent. I rigged it but, noticed the next night that there was a huge moving truck in their drive way. Ah-hah. Still never bothered to tell us about it or for that matter fix it.
Now the new people living in the Hispanic couple house moved in just the other day and I noticed as we got out of our car that they were done moving in and lastly, almost ceremoniously put up a Dale Earnhardt Jr. flag above their garage. I told Lauren that we were obviously getting some pretty good neighbors! A couple nights later I'm leaving for work and alas there are three BA police cars, two in front of my house and one in front of their driveway. A cop is talking with the gentleman that put the falg up and the other two or so cops were apparently searching the house I could only assume. Next night, I don't remember weather it was two or just one but there were again cops at their house, and the night after that... What is the deal? Are good neighbors really few and far between?
The kicker, before all of these except the ones that moved to Florida, we have a crappy rent house directly across from us, who at a couple of tenants in time we thought had a meth lab or something similar going on. Needless to say I'd like to kick the renter in the head as he/she doesn't care who/what kind of people that rent from him/her! What has Country Aire come too???
